So, last night, in a last minute decision, I decided to take part in the Amashova Cycle Race on 18 October here in Durban.
The main event is a 106km cycle from Hilton through to Sun Coast Casino, but there is absolutely no way I am going to manage that, so I’m heading for the 38km Family Fun Ride. “Family Fun Ride” of 38km??? What? HOW is that a “fun ride”? Is the family they are referring to a bunch of 3 year old Lance Armstrong kids?
Anyway, I am sure I will cope. It is the first race of any sort I have ever entered, ever!
If you are keen to sponsor my entry, get me to wear a T-Shirt or apparel of some sort, for money of course. I don’t want to beat around the bush here, give me a shout.

ha ha good luck with that! I have done the 94.7 a few times so I am sure you will manage.
First thing, do you have a bike?
