Found this really awesome Facebook application put together by a local bunch of guys called Catch Roman.
Here is a little excerpt from the Facebook App:
Catch Roman is a Facebook game centred on the fictitious character of Roman Reeves. The game is as much a movie as it is a game.
The story begins with Roman commissioned to steal a secret and valuable object called “the Pivot”. Once his mission is completed, Roman realises the significance of this object and his life as he knows it is over.
Roman is now on the run, and for as long as he has “the Pivot” he will never be safe. Dangerous even in the right hands; in the wrong hands unfathomable – yet far too valuable to destroy.
Roman has decided to seek out somebody worthy; somebody smart enough to decide its destiny.
If you are smart enough to catch him – smarter than all the rest – he will give it to you and let you decide its destiny. But watch out. Be careful. You are not alone in this quest.
I have joined, and it’s quite a lot of fun. Basically, Roman releases very well produced videos of places he is currently visiting (around the world) and you have to answer questions based on where he is. You collect entries for each question correctly answered. You can also get a hint for each question, but that reduces your entries earned for that question. You can also see what your friends have answered, but only if you have enough Friends Points available. To get more points, you invite more friends to add the app. You get 1 point for every 2 friends who sign up. Nice bit of viral marketing on the go right there.
And the point of it all? A trip to Mauritius for 2 people. And if one of your friends wins that prize, then you could win a R20,000 voucher from RoomsForAfrica. I could live with that!
Rumour has it, and I do stand corrected, that guy who plays Roman Reeves is the person who started Top Billing on SABC3. Apparently he teamed up with Michael Mol to produce this awesome little competition. But please correct me if I am wrong, I would hate for the PR police to start harassing me.
So go and get it on … you have until the end of November to do it. Just viewing the videos and their production quality is what initially got me interested.

Deryck Broom was the Insert Director for Top Billing for 2 years… Catch Roman is being produced by a local film production company called Small Screen Productions -http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/Cape-Town-South-Africa/Small-Screen-Productions/205186545121?ref=ts … and Michael Mol is a friend of Roman’s but might just know where he is!
