Building on Fire in Durban!
Yesterday, on my way home from Umhlanga, I spotted a plume of black smoke coming up from the streets in Durban. I decided that I would be the ever-inquisitive person I really am, and try find this place and get some photos.
I manged to get there, eventually, and quite close too. I took some photos with my mobile, so the quality, as per the norm with mobiles, is not so great.
The story goes that the building, occupied by Jakes Autos, buy & sell used imported vehicles and they had over a 1000 vehicles on the top floor which have all been gutted by the flames. This story even made the top story on the 5fm evening news.
