U2, can be a rockstar!

For some of the lucky (and swift-acting) amongst us, you will be heading off to the awesomeness that is the U2 360° concert coming up this month in Joburg and Cape Town.  I, unfortunately, am absolute livid that I wasn’t able to get tickets to the concert, I mean they are only my all-time most favourite band ever!

To make myself feel better about the whole situation, I have been listening in to the radio, and in particular to 94.7 Highveld.  They have been running a little competition which gives somebody the chance to win double tickets to the U2 concert here in Jozi.  When I heard I thought fantastic, finally I will get a chance, but then I realised you would have to sing at one of their roving stages LIVE on air to be in line.  I weighed it all up and decided that I best not include myself, for fear of damaging the ears of all their listeners.

Although, having said that, the guy who was singing this morning on the stage which was at Pick ‘n Pay on Nicol, made me feel like I was just as good as Bono himself.  Shame, bless his soul.  He did win the double tickets though, probably the reason why he sounded so high on the phone.
