TOTAL Tour Natal Rally Action – 25/26 March 2011

As with most men, the speed and adrenalin created in us is often brought on by extremely fast cars racing around awesome tracks.  Bring on rally!  This high-paced adrenalin-inducing race format involves very fast cars, going around very tight corners, at very high speeds.  You get the picture.

March brings us to the first installment of the South African Rally Championship which is going to be held in KwaZulu-Natal, down the South Coast on 25 & 26 March 2011.  It’s round 1 and the championship is anyone’s game!  Last year saw Enzo Kuun and co-driver Guy Hodgson, in their S2000 VW Polo, take top honours as the 2010 South African Rally Championship winners.

You will see the top S2000 class filled with the VW Polo, Basil Read Ford Fiesta and Toyota Auris rally cars.  These cars are all naturally aspirated 2.0 litre cars (ie. no turbo’s) generating around 200kw’s, with four wheel drive.
