SEO Trial & Error

Jan 26, 2009 by     5 Comments    Posted under: General

On Thursday last week I made some changes to the PrivateProperty.co.za website to make sure that we are number 1 for the search term “property for sale” in Google.

The changes seem to have moved us up into 6th position, up from 10th.  But not quite at the number 1 spot that we want to be at.  We have done extensive research into SEO and into what our competitors for that keyword have done.  But we are still not at number 1.

Any ideas on other things we can implement on the website that will enable Google to recognize us as an expert in our field?

  • I tried that search “property for sale”. U were 6th ont the world wide web but if you do the SA search then you are at the no. 1 spot.

  • I get you 6th and 6th on both, even with “property for sale”…

  • Yeah, thanks! We have moved up in the rankings, but we seem to be bouncing all over the place. Keeping tabs on it!

  • Informative article about internet marketing, thanks for sharing with us. Internet is the best media to enlarge your business if we use it in a proper way.
