Time of my life
In about t-minus 20min I will be walking into a boardroom full of IT geeks and company directors to prove to them why they hired me in the first place.
I have been employed to manage our (PrivateProperty.co.za) online marketing strategy and today my report, which I have been working on for over a month, is due for presentation. I can’t say that I am not nervous about it, but I am definitely excited as this is something i have been working towards for the passed 9 years. I was in web development & design, but have really found myself hating programming, its not how my brain functions.
Armed with the knowledge I have over the last 9 years, I have been given the opportunity to prove myself in the web marketing field. This is very new to me, but i have been doing some extensive research, and made contact with some great e-marketers (bluemagnet.co.za) out there who have helped me through it all.
Here’s hoping that this presentation goes well and I get to keep my job. If it goes well, and the directors like what I present, then we are A for away and the real work begins!
